WPS Dominican Republic Sit and Go Qualifiers

The format for the qualifiers for the World Poker Showdown - Dominican Republic event will be run over 2 Sit and Go tournaments. Players can compete in these events by entering the $88 buy-in 1 st event. The top player in this tournament will be awarded a seat into the Grand final of the WPS Dominican Republic qualifier.

Prize Structure for SNG online tournament:

1st Place - Seat to the WPS Dominican Republic Online Final on Saturday May 3rd and 6pm BST

2nd Place - 30% of the Prizepool

3rd Place - 20% of the Prizepool

Please note that the remaining 50% counts towards the online Final table

Prize Structure for the Online Final:

1st Place - Grand Prize

2nd Place - Re entry to the Online Final for another chance to scoop first place and the Grand Prize

3rd Place - $400

Terms and Conditions:

1. First prizes at WPS Dominican Republic Qualifiers are non-refundable, non-transferable and cannot be converted to cash.

2. Any individual player can win only one seat at a WPS Dominican Republic Qualifier and the corresponding mainland Main Event.

3. Participants in WPS Dominican Republic Qualifiers must be at least 18 years of age, unless specified differently.

4. Players are responsible to have a valid passport/visa (if required) and all other documentation necessary to participate in WPS Dominican Republic.

5. The package to the WPS event is only applicable for players from mainland Europe .

6. Participating players must be available to travel to the Dominican Republic for a 12 day duration departing on the 7 th May and returning on the 19 th May.

7. The package includes flights, accommodation and entry into 3 “Mega Satellites” for the main event of the WPS Dominican Republic event. There are numerous other events running at the WPS Dominican Republic event which players may participate in.

8. Players from the same IP address, or from the same household, are not eligible to participate in WPS Dominican Republic Qualifier promotions.

9. Any player found trying to enter with more than one account into a tournament will not be eligible for WPS Dominican Republic Qualifier promotions.

10. Any player found colluding or "soft playing" in order to allow another player to win during the course of a tournament will be disqualified and his account will be frozen.

11. Any withdrawals made on any winnings at the tournaments are subject to Purple Lounge's standard withdrawal procedure.

12. By qualifying for WPS Dominican Republic Qualifier promotions, players agree that their real names, aliases, images, and moving images can be used for promotional purposes on any known format or media .

13. By entering the WPS Dominican Republic Qualifier promotions, players agree that, should they win a mainland poker tournament seat, they will wear Purple Lounge apparel (hats and/or T-Shirts) in accordance with the instructions of Purple Lounge.

14. Purple Lounge shall in no way be liable for any injuries, losses, damages or expenses suffered or incurred by any winner of a WPS Dominican Republic Qualifier Package as a direct or indirect result of accepting the mainland poker tournament seat. It is the players responsibility to ensure that they have sufficient insurance cover for this trip.

15. All decisions made by the Purple Lounge management are final.

16. Purple Lounge cannot advise on the tax position of winners. Some jurisdictions treat poker wins as tax free, while in other jurisdictions such proceeds are taxable. If the winnings are taxable in a player's jurisdiction, the player is solely responsible to keep track of and report his/her winnings to the appropriate authorities. Likewise, Purple Lounge cannot advise on whether the playing of poker over the Internet is lawful in a player's jurisdiction.

17. Purple Lounge reserve the right to change wholly or in part the terms and conditions or suspend the promotion at any time.

18. All dates/times mentioned are in BST.

19. Participating players must be available to travel to the Dominican Republic for a 12 day duration departing on the 7 th May and returning on the 19 th May.
